Challenge
Mr. Stephen has been the shopkeeper at the tuck-shop for a long time. After a long
day of
selling various things to both junior and senior schools like crisps, nuts, cake, juices boxes,
yogurt and fruits he has to pick the litter from the compound. This is a very tiresome job and time
consuming. How can we help him in making his job easier?

Guys I would first like to say that my I ha an amazing experience in the first few weeks of MYP DD. In each lesson we learnt many different skills, including background skills; for having good backgrounds, word capture skills; getting people's attention with the writing and more....
ReplyDeleteWe were taught about 12 good, knowledgeable lessons and over now. The worksheets given were very helpful, one was about why you chose the animation site, another one was about the information you collected, and some more...
The classmates are really helpful and they helped me learn more about other animation sites. Lessons are taught crystal clear as long as you are a person like me who listens carefully.
I finally got to create a new animation production, learn how to think critically, make decisions and spread your information. Lastly, I want to say the things I want to improve in the next Criterion; I want to make my background more interesting, have more attractive words, use different objects and use different transitions.

ground and many more.........
You have taught us many things which are very helpful
and the worksheets you have given us are really helpful for me and the other classmates one of them was about the research activity where we had to name 4 animated software's and had to say the advantages and the disadvantage's.
I have found this class really fun because of the corporation, understanding and also how people we all interact with each other.
The thing I achieved is I finally know how to use go animate and other different software's to make my animated video
the thing I will do for my next criteria is to understand more use different types of skills (artistic , sense of humour , designing , transition and E.T.C) to make my animation.

Excellent, Amazing and fun are just a few words to describe my experience through DD. This experience has taught and improved many skills, like research skills, organizational skills, problem solving skills, and many more.
ReplyDeleteThrough this period of time we had many lessons, most of which were research but they helped a lot as I got to know lots that i didn't know. We were given worksheets that would assist while researching. Such of these worksheets were on the skills, prioritizing and such more.
Although my experience was good I had some problems, my classmates were really helpful, and I was the same when my friends had problems. I had very less problems because before we started work Mr. Victor would explain to us.
It was a good journey but still there were rough roads and tings to improve on these rough roads. I could improve my skills like research skills and the other skills, i could also improve on problem solving and being detailed in my work.
And with this i would end with i wise saying that " No road is to rough to cross".

Reflection
ReplyDeleteDuring the journey of criterion A, i really had a wonderful time. I got to learn so many new skills and also got to improve on some too!
During this period of time we had so many lessons where i got to learn lots that i didn't know. We were given so many worksheets, such as problem and situation, prioritizing main points of research, etc.
it was an amazing experience throughout my journey but there were also problems that headed my way. Next time i would like to improve on more of the skills and me more organised in my work!

So far DD has been awesome. We are about to end the first criterion. I think that I will enjoy making a solution for our problem. I am very excited to start animating.

Through the many lessons we have had, most of it was research about our problem, which was about littering in school, and the solution. One of the solutions I found was to organize a school/community cleanup event where we would have one whole day to cleanup on the 12th of every month possibly.

ReplyDeleteLet me say that till now, I have had an amazing experience in digital design (DD). I have improved in many skills like researching and learnt about many ways to be more productive and many, many more..
ReplyDeleteThroughout the 12 lessons we have had, I have gradually but surely have become better. The worksheets that were given are fun and engaging but also productive and Mr.Victor has been very helpful with his advice. This has been amazing.
It has been amazing to have freedom of whatever we can do on the computer and how ever way we would like to research. All my classmates have been very helpful in areas I was stuck or needed help.
I think i have now successfully learnt how to create a good animation, think about how I want go about this unit and I think as we go into the next stage of this unit I am sure I will learn so much more. I want to improve on making my animations look professional and neat to make more attractive video to make a real change

my overview in the dd class was amazing. i enjoy every work we are doing in the dd class. i had lots of fun and help that i need.I mostly enjoy learning research skills.

My experience in DD!
ReplyDeleteI love dd because we are learning about animations. And i am excited to learn more.
Going through this experience has helped me a lot in research skills. I have learnt during this experience about more animations websites and how they help us.
Before I never thought that animations could help us. I thought they were just cartoons to entertain us and make us laugh. But now I know that they can help to even solve the biggest problem.
Animation has taught me how to make use of my time by looking into problems and creating animations to solve it.
I had lots of problems but Mr Victor helped me overcome them in a second. I have tried to understand what Mr Victor could not explain by looking into the website that I posted earlier.
It was about making an animated video in ten seconds or less. Using powtoon. It was very informative and I hope that it helped everyone like how it helped me.
It was a fun, exciting and fabulous experience and I hope it will be so when I am looking into the worlds problems.
I would like to end with a quote for learning

ReplyDeleteMy experience was really nice for the first time in DD. Mr. Victor has been really helpful at all times. The skill I learnt is research skills. I completed all the worksheets that we were given on time. The worksheets were not that easy to do but they were manageable. The lessons were taught well. I understood almost everything that he taught.I achieved different skills and I learned a lot about different softwares of animation.I had lots of fun during these weeks. It was amazing.

Amazing,fun experience and many more that i cant even say.First time learning about dd instead of ICT. I first thought that dd was not like ict was about designing stuff. But it all came different.

Some of the skills we learnt were research skills because in making a animation we need to know more about it and for that position i looked forward to powtoon.
Some of the worksheets we got were taking about more animations and we had to write about the characters, picture, and the person who made the animations.
In this work mostly we were doing our work own unless we wanted help in the questions.
Before we start the work always Mr.Victor clears what we are going to do and if anyone has a question they can ask.
Some of my achievements i got is to finally know about the animations as going on my research.
On criteria B i would like to be detailed more on my research and to try and work out some of the challanges i can face on powtoon so
when i start my work of animations i can make the challenges to be a solution in my animation.....so i will look forward to powtoon and my own animation on littering

hi every one digital design is been a tough journey but its fun and challenging i learned how to make animated videos and also much more mr victor has been my best teacher from junior school and he i calm and fun to work with hope i learn more through out the year

My class mates were very helpful and kind when I am stuck they are always there to help for that i really thank my classmates so much.
The lessons are very clear and easy to understand.I achieved so many skills and also solutions to problems.
In criterion B I want to become more serious finish my work on time so that i don't have to stay any longer for break.
In digital design i have been researching with everybody else about animations so we can make an animation about littering and get to understand what are the different uses of animations and how much better they can be.

It has been a really good experience throughout my journey, I never had problems in Criterion A, it was really easy for me. The skills I have learnt so many skills like research skills, communication skills, collaborating skill and many other skills.
I am really looking forward to Criterion B, I hope I will learn more skills in the future in Digital Design

ReplyDeletein all of the dd lessons we have been given worksheets that help us and they have helped me personally and when ever i am stuck i just refer to the papers and sometimes Mr. Victor can help me too
although in my experience i have some good and bad thing so of the bad thing was when i didn't understand the work given and when i was stuck doing something some of the good things were when i would understand and do my work right
Mr. Victor was a really good and helpful teacher because whenever i was stuck in something Mr. Victor would help me understand it very well

Being especially new to the MYP programme, and learning all the new features of the subjects and lessons. I am exited for the days to come. I really loved the ICT subject in the primary years programme, so why shouldn't I love the Digital Designe subject in middle school? Yes, I love the DD subject. For two main reasons,
1 The things we learn and understand as a whole class
2 Our amazing teacher
Being as fresh as a ripe orange(I love oranges) to the MYP I won't say I have a lot to say about the subject in a reflection, but all I would like to say, I enjoy working and researching on given tasks and assignments.
I Deeply look forward to the upcoming digital designe lessons! 😇
